The founder, who was born and raised in Shizuoka — one of Japan’s most respected tea-growing regions — has a lifelong familiarity with tea. Growing up, tea was part of everyday life, and through close family connections to tea farming, she developed a deep appreciation for first-harvest leaves and the care behind them.

Through a personal journey back to Japan, she visited tea manufacturers in person, working directly with those responsible for processing and finishing the matcha. From these encounters, she carefully curated a matcha she could truly stand behind — one shaped by place, people, and deep respect for tradition.

We believe matcha is not just something to drink, but a moment to pause — a small break in the day to slow down, breathe, and enjoy what’s in front of you.
